I’ve been sitting on this news for a while, and I can finally start talking about it: a true Collector’s Edition of Escala’s Wish is officially in production. This is the premium version I’ve always dreamed of offering—a book meant to feel like an artifact from Valla itself—and I’m creating it in collaboration with the incredible cover artist Gene Mollica.
Custom Sprayed Edges Designed by Gene Mollica
If you’ve seen Gene’s work, you already know the level of detail and imagination he brings to heroic fantasy. But this edition takes things even further.

This is the part I’m most excited about. Gene is designing a fully custom sprayed-edge artwork—not just a color wash, but an illustrated edge that wraps the book in art even when it’s closed.
This is something you rarely see outside of high-end special editions, and it makes each copy truly stand out on a shelf.
Premium Binding & Materials
The Collector’s Edition will be crafted like a keepsake:
- Cloth-bound hardcover, rich in texture
- Silver foil lettering on both the cover and the spine
- A matching dust jacket
- A blue satin ribbon marker
- Blue and white headbands (the decorative bands at the top and bottom of the spine)
Every detail is intentional and chosen to elevate the physical reading experience.
Printed in London
To ensure the quality matches the vision, the edition is being printed and case bound in London by a press known for fine-art and limited-run books.
Once printed, the books will be shipped directly to me.

Personally Signed
Every single copy will be signed by me before it ships out. These are not mass-produced, and they won’t be available anywhere else—not Amazon, not bookstores—only through my official Trash Panda Publishing store
Release Timing

I expect them to reach me sometime in late December. I can’t promise they’ll arrive before Christmas, but I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as they ship from the UK.
A True Limited Edition
Because of the cost of materials and international production, these will be pricey—but they’re also designed to be heirloom-quality collectibles for fans who want the most beautiful version of Escala’s Wish possible.
If you’ve been waiting for a signed, display-worthy edition… this is the one.
More details (and photos!) will be coming soon as Gene finalizes the sprayed-edge artwork.
Stay tuned—and thank you for supporting this wild indie publishing adventure.

Invitation to Feature Escala’s Wish
Hello David,
While discovering Escala’s Wish, what immediately stood out to me was the emotional depth beneath its enchanting fantasy setting. Although the novel is filled with fae courts, ancient rivalries, and magical adventure, the heart of the story lies in Escala’s search for belonging and understanding. As someone caught between worlds, she is forced to confront questions of identity, responsibility, love, and sacrifice that resonate far beyond the boundaries of fantasy. That emotional foundation gives the story a depth that readers carry with them long after the final page.
My name is Broosk M. Ameen, Executive and Super Organizer of Göteborg Socials and Afterwork Club in Göteborg, Sweden. Our international community brings together people from diverse cultures and backgrounds through meaningful conversations, cultural experiences, and literary gatherings where exceptional books become the starting point for authentic discussion and lasting connections.
As I explored your novel further, I was especially impressed by how you balance adventure, romance, and character growth. Escala’s transformation from an outsider within the Court of Dreams to someone forced to navigate an unfamiliar world creates a compelling journey of self discovery. Her relationship with Roedyn adds another layer of emotional complexity as both characters wrestle with loyalty, destiny, and the possibility of losing what matters most. These are the kinds of human experiences that remain relatable regardless of the fantastical setting.
What also makes Escala’s Wish particularly engaging is the way it explores the tension between duty and desire. The choices your characters face are not simply matters of survival but questions of personal values, courage, and what people are willing to sacrifice for those they love. Combined with themes of redemption, acceptance, found family, and hope, the story offers rich opportunities for meaningful conversation among readers from many different backgrounds.
For those reasons, I believe Escala’s Wish would make an outstanding addition to one of our upcoming Göteborg Socials and Afterwork Club Literary Reading Cycles. I can easily imagine our members engaging in thoughtful discussions about identity, belonging, sacrifice, destiny, and the enduring power of love in the face of impossible choices.
Would you be open to featuring Escala’s Wish during one of our upcoming Literary Reading Cycles? I would be delighted to share more about our Featured Author programme and how we introduce meaningful books to our international community of readers.
Warm regards,
