Each year, the PenCraft Awards seek out excellence in creative writing, searching for books that surpass strict selection criteria to find the absolute “best of the season.” For the Spring 2026 season, they selected a collection of 64 books from around the world that represent the pinnacle of storytelling, and “Escala’s Wish” has taken its place among them!
